Fall is officially here and we are loving this cool weather! We have been trying to do all things fall before it gets way too cold. From going to the park to our town festival and pumpkin patches…to planning his 1st birthday party to deciding on our Halloween costumes, we are getting all things done, so I thought I would fill ya’ll in on today’s October update.

October in Texas really doesn’t show too much by the leaves changing, but it does show by all the activities around town. The weather just started changing, too, but isn’t freezing. I’m loving it! I have been trying to do as many fall things as I can with my little one. It’s seriously SO MUCH FUN! Last year I was too pregnant to do anything at this time, ha!
So this year I wanted to really get in the spirit of fall. I took Hunter to a couple of local pumpkin patches that he enjoyed so much and we even picked out a few baby pumpkins from the patch. I even pushed him around the patch in a little wagon. It was a blast! What great memories with him!

Another reason I love October is because it’s Hunter’s birthday month! YA’LL… I cannot believe he will be ONE soon. Time sure flies, especially when you have a little one. I have already ordered his cake and taken his smash cake pictures. Be on the look out for those coming soon. Also, I am having a few friends and family over to celebrate at our house. I will reveal his birthday party theme soon! So so fun!
In case you missed it, I have been sharing a few fun things on the blog in October. If you are struggling with coming up with ways to spend time with your little one and don’t want to spend any money… head over to my blog post Taking Time to Take Time. Also, I posted a blog post all about Hunter learning to walk and linked his adorable new romper people have been asking about lately. So head on over to this post, Learning To Walk for all the info. It’s all there!
I think that about sums up my October update! October has me feeling excited and maybe a tad stressed for the holiday and birthdays we have coming up but I can’t wait for all of the family time this month brings, as well. Happy fall, ya’ll!
