Too often, there is a lot of pressure on moms to have everything sorted out and it's just too much to focus on sometimes.  So, I just do my own thing.  That includes in how I make my day work.  I get that everyone approaches their day differently, but I decided to share my productivity tips with you to see if you could benefit from it.  Being a mom is hard and being productive when you're a mom is even harder.  Hopefully this will spark you to make your own productivity routine . It really can make a difference.

1.      Wake up before my little one: I know.  I KNOW.  This seems like it would be drastically early, but you guys, it really can be the best thing for your day's productivity.  You'll learn how your little one sleeps and how to wake up before him or her rather than waiting for him or her tp wake up first and start screaming bloody murder as your alarm clock.

2.      Drink 1 or 2 (okay, 7) cups of coffee first thing in the morning: See?  It gets better!  I don't feel an ounce of productivity until I've got coffee in my veins, so I tend to go a little liberal on my coffee and it helps me stay positive about the day to come.

3.      Set realistic goals for the day: Goals are great.  They can be small (like changing out of pajamas) or bigger (like going for a stroll to the park).  Either way, set realistic goals for your day and make sure that they are ones that you actually want to achieve.  It'll feel so good to achieve them.

4.      Plan my day the night before: Since I'm a planner, I tend to keep my life in order by planning it out the day before.  From clothes to activities to food, I plan everything out the day before.  It helps with the internal chaos before mister mess too!

5.      Put my phone away: There are more important things in our lives than social media. Life is happening while we answer texts, and I want to focus on my family.  So, I put my phone away as much as I can and it can really help me enjoy every part of my life.  It helps me catch the smiles and the more serious moments, too.  I want to know that I'm not just scrolling out of boredom, too, which is great for when I do spend time on my phone – I know I'm there for the right reasons!

Life is good but life is fast.Make sure that you are keeping up with it by making every day as productive as possible. It doesn't matter what “productive” means to you, just go out there and make it happen so that you can enjoy each day for the very reason of being successfully productive. It makes a difference. And guys> It’s not as hard as you’re thinking right now!
