Drugstore Makeup Brushes

Some days are makeup days and some days are go natural days. When I have to put on makeup, I also have to use brushes. And, when I have to use brushes, I turn to E.L.F. brushes. See, I have a habit of going through makeup brushes like they were disposable. These practically are! E.L.F. makeup brushes are priced so low that I literally have NO GUILT when one is on its last sweep and needs replacing. E.L.F. stands for Eyes, Lips, Face. They feel seriously amazing and wonderful to my eyes, lips, and face. I've had them in the past, but just got these as a birthday gift, purchased at my local Walmart. You can buy the whole professional line for $12, or pick and choose the ones you really need and pay as little as $1-$10 each!

Not that this company needs any more high fives, but... these brushes are both CRUELTY AND VEGAN FREE1 Nice!

HERE ARE THE BRUSHES IN MY BIRTHDAY HAUL

1. Kabuki brush

Okay guys. I really love this brush! I use this with my loose powder and it is so amazing. It's soft and easy to apply my makeup with. This brush can be used with dry or wet products. How cool!

2. Professional Total Face Makeup Brush

This brush is one that I use ALL THE TIME. It is my quick go-to brush if I need to contour my cheek bones with bronzer real fast before heading out the door. And...that is usually how it happens.

3. Duo Eyebrow Brush (Dual Sided)

I use this brush on special occasions or when I have a photo shoot. I use one side of it to fill in my brows and the other side is to shape my brows into place.

4. Eyeshadow Brush (out of stock at Walmart.com, but check      your local store, or order directly from E.L.F.)

This is hands down THE perfect eye shadow brush because the eye shadow absorbs the perfect amount of eye shadow on the brush. Easy to apply, too!

5. Beautifully Precise Sculpting Brush

So, this brush is one that I actually haven't used before, but I'm excited to try it! I like that this brush has white fibers on the end so that I can see where the placement of my makeup is. This looks like it will be a great contour brush too. It also has a custom designed handle that provides major control! I will let ya'll know how I like it once I use it!

HERE ARE THE BRUSHES ON MY WISH LIST

1. Sculpting Face Brush

This brush would be great if you really want to blend and/or contour your face, and it helps minimize the look of your jawline. The curve of the brush is a little different to the Beautifully Precise Sculpting Brush above. I would love to see the difference these two brushes have when applying my makeup.

2. Retractable Kabuki Brush

I really love this retractable brush because it looks like a great on-the-go applicator for bronzer or powder! I love the fact that it has a cap so my bronzer or powder won't leave a mess in the bottom of my makeup bag {well maybe just not as much. Ha!}.

3. Concealer Brush

This looks like another great, inexpensive, and on-the-go brush to add to my collection.. I need this brush all-day-long, so I seriously could buy three or four of these every month and not feel the pinch in my budget. Yay!

Thanks for stopping by!
