Love My Gund!
I am in love with this Gund Elephant. I can't decide if it is the cute ears that wiggle and flop back and forth, the song it sings, the words it speaks or the little voice behind it all. Whatever it is, it's adorkable! If I press the "sing" button on one foot (is there a special name for an elephant's foot?), it sings "Do Your Ears Hang Low". If I press "play" on the other foot, it plays "Peek-a Boo". But, that voice! It's just the cutest thing. Please watch the video to get the full cutest of it.
This would be a great gift for a 1 year old birthday party, a Christmas gift, or a baby shower gift.
I'm pretty amazed that Gund is still in our family. I still have my pink Gund bear from when I was a toddler, and my older sister still has her white Gund bear from when she was a baby. They are both around 30 years old. But, who's counting!
My Hunter loves this talking elephant. I mean he REALLY loves it. He hugs it, claps when it sings and cuddles with it.
It's his friend.
We renamed him "Trunk". I think we'll keep him.
