Three Ways to Treat Yourself

 
 

Some days I just need to take 30 minutes and do something that makes me feel good. I'm a single mom and sometimes I feel like I'm running circles around Hunter all day, and forget to stop and just breathe. I love it that it doesn't cost much at all to bring on the WOOSAH. I have a few routine things I do to when I need a break from working on the blog or doing what every busy mom does 1000x a day. They are simple but doing just one of these things makes me smile. 

1. Go for a walk around the neighborhood.

I need that mood boost that nature gives me. It's a good time clear my mind, pray, be thankful of the people and things in my life. 

2. Go to McDonald's for my favorite Caramel Frappe.

This drink of pure deliciousness takes me to my happy place with the first sip. It doesn't hurt that I throw on my coffee t-shirt just to make a point!

3. Go to my closet and purge.

There's nothing that bring me more satisfaction than saying goodbye to one or two shirts that I thought I'd wear again one day but haven't worn in 6 years. Yep. Toss.
